Houston, Texas - Chateau Nouvelle
Molly’s bridal session at Chateau Nouvelle was one that felt extra special for us. Molly has been a part of our lives for so long, and she has always been like a little sister to Dan. So getting to photograph her as a bride - and then watch her marry the man of her dreams - felt a lot less like photographing a client and a lot more like celebrating family.
Molly has the purest heart and has always been someone who overflows with joy. She is a light everywhere she goes, and she is also a complete natural in front of the camera. Her bridal look was the perfect reflection of her - classic, elegant, and timeless. Her satin ball gown, lace coverlet, buttons down the back, and cathedral veil gave the whole look such a beautiful, almost Kate Middleton feel.
Chateau Nouvelle was the perfect setting for her portraits. Every corner was beautiful, but the marble fireplace and room of arched windows were some of my favorite spots. And even though it stormed for most of the morning, Molly never let it bother her. We got a little break in the rain at the end of the session, giving us just enough time to head outside for a few portraits with the beautiful grounds and the Rolls-Royce she rented.
Being able to capture these portraits for Molly before her wedding day was such a sweet part of this season for us. We truly felt like we were watching so many of her dreams come true, and getting to celebrate that with someone who feels like family made this session one we’ll always treasure.
