BELLA VIST, ARKANSAS - MILDRED B. COOPER MEMORIAL CHAPEL
There was something extra special about photographing Keri and Jed’s wedding day because it brought us back to a place that holds so much meaning for us, too. Keri is someone we’ve known since the kids camp where Dan and I first met, so getting to watch her marry Jed at Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel - the very same chapel where we got married in July 2022 - felt incredibly full-circle.
Their day was a beautiful reflection of who they are. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends, and you could see throughout the entire day just how much they love and prioritize one another. Their first look was especially meaningful as they shared personal promises with each other in their own way. Later, several ministers spoke during their ceremony and shared the sweetest words about Keri and Jed and the life they were beginning together.
March brought some unexpected surprises. There were storms in the forecast, but thankfully they held off for the most part. It was *very* cold, though, and then snow actually began falling during their ceremony! There was definitely some surprise and laughter, but Keri and Jed were such troopers and somehow made the unexpected weather feel like part of the magic of their day.
Their reception at Compton Gardens & Arboretum in Bentonville was just as beautiful. The wall of windows brought the outdoors in and created such a beautiful setting for celebrating with their people. From Keri’s classic, beautiful dress and the green bridesmaid dresses to the sharp plaid suits, every detail felt thoughtful and completely them.
And, of course, we can’t forget breakfast for dinner, coffee, and custom high-top Converse for the reception. It was the perfect combination of beautiful and fun - just like Keri and Jed.
Getting to photograph and film their wedding was such a joy for us. We’re so thankful we got to be there to document a day that was so uniquely theirs, in a place that will always hold a special place in our own story, too.
