We go to church with Molly, so when she asked us to capture her and Carson's wedding, we couldn't have been more excited! Molly has always been like a little sister to Dan, which made this season even more special for us. Carson and Molly are truly one of the sweetest couples you'll ever meet. They were introduced by a mutual friend, and now, at the beginning of August, they'll say "I do" and begin this exciting new chapter together. We feel so honored to be a small part of their story!
The Jungle Gardens at Avery Island made the perfect backdrop for this Louisiana engagement session. From the towering live oak trees draped in Spanish moss to the peaceful waterways, every corner of the gardens captures the beauty and charm of South Louisiana. It's one of our favorite places to photograph, and it's easy to see why it's such a client favorite, too. Being able to drive between locations means you get so much variety in one session. As if the scenery wasn't enough, we even spotted a few baby alligators along the way - only in Louisiana!
We're suckers for a white dress during an engagement session! Classic and timeless perfectly describe Molly and Carson's session. Their love for one another was so evident in every moment, and one of our favorite parts was hearing the sweet things they shared with each other between prompts and poses. It's moments like those that remind us why we love what we do. We pray everyone gets to experience a love as genuine and joy-filled as theirs.

We wrapped up their session with the most beautiful golden-hour sunset. God painted the most incredible sky to end the evening. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect ending to such a special session. Here's to Molly and Carson, to the beginning of forever, and to all the beautiful moments still to come!
